Network Topology Assistance for newbie

Hi,

Newbie here.

I am looking to set up the MEAN Stack on Amazon & was curious as to whether best practice would be to have each component in its own subnet.

ie App Server (Node) 10.0.10.x, Mongo 10.0.15.x, NGINX 10.0.20.x
