Re: auth_basic issue, won't protect full directory

I try with same result

try_files $uri $uri/ =404;
auth_basic "Restricted";
auth_basic_user_file /srv/http/admin/.htpasswd;
}

Mind that i got auth request on admin/ not if i request a php file in it
